In some people stayed back or even moved to other African countries. My parents held Portuguese passports at the time. Am I eligible to apply for Portuguese nationality ? Q: I was born in Goa before 1961 or born out side of Goa but my birth was transcribed in Goa before 1961 and I have my old Portuguese ID / Para Viagem Card / Old Portuguese Passport issued by the former Portuguese administration prior to 1961 and these documents were valid till 1965.
